Drawing power: 1st Niv's Loophole

Post  folgabil on Sat Aug 16, 2008 12:47 am

Please tell me what do you think about this ?
Niv -Mizzet the Firemind, http://sales.starcitygames.com/carddisplay.php?product=40258 with Curiosity(enchant creature, when deal dmg, draw a card) on him.

Meaning, tap Niv-Mizzet, draw a card, deal one dmg, draw a card because of the ench deal one dmg and go on for ever and ever...

What do you guys think? I'd like to try it since they are enough cards to back it up for a deck... But is it a bit too far-fetched? Or no fun at all? I dont know, I kind of like the idea!

That's a tricky combo. It is cute but... You can only play it if it means sure death. Why? Because if your opponent has more life than you have cards on your library you'll loose the game by drawing out to a moment where you can't draw anymore. Meaning that it won't be useful to you against a life gaining deck.
Otherwise, it is cool.

More drawing power

If you're playing a green deck here go several combos that can be special winning conditions:

Abundance + Sylvan Library = all the drawing power of the Library with 0 life loss
Elfhame Sanctuary + Symbiotic Deployment = 1 land per turn plus any amount of cards as long as you can pay the mana cost and tap the creatures; this being in a green deck means that you'll have lots of supply on both categories.

PS - folgabil, sorry for stealing the thread but it would be stupid to start a new thread with drawing combos and let this one die, unused.
