It was comprised of 16 players, several of them new. It was a lot of fun but in the end the most experienced ended up in the top eight. I wonder if we'll hold such a big event as today. The answer is no. Why? First of all, it abides to two rules: 1. Evoke is an alternative casting cost (and not an ability cost). 2. Cold and misty outside, so we stayed home with a nice pizza and some coke. 9 boosters to draft, 2 rounds for each player. Lim-Dul scored a tie against MaJin and DarkRequiem while DarkRequiem scored a tie against MaJin. In the end Lim-Dul had 4 points, MaJin 2 and DarkRequiem only 1. Not a bad gaming session. Once again, against all that I said, I've built yet another deck. And there's at least one more (tribal) to come. This one is based on Shards of Alara's ability: Exalted. Being Exalted a keyword only found in white, blue and green cards and me being the anti-blue guy, I've decided to change it a bit. At first I wanted to keep it a three colour deck, replacing blue with black. Then, while building the deck I noticed that in fact I'd only be adding black for the creature ...
