Hi there, guys.

Once again, against all that I said, I've built yet another deck. And there's at least one more (tribal) to come.

This one is based on Shards of Alara's ability: Exalted. Being Exalted a keyword only found in white, blue and green cards and me being the anti-blue guy, I've decided to change it a bit. At first I wanted to keep it a three colour deck, replacing blue with black. Then, while building the deck I noticed that in fact I'd only be adding black for the creature ...

Well, although I don't truly like naming a deck after one of the guilds of Ravnica or a shard of Alara, I don't have a better name for this deck yet and since it does seem to follow the Boros credo, why trouble myself thinking of some other name?

Well, no matter. This is my first attempt at a Boros deck:

LANDS - 21

9 Mountain

8 Plains

1 Battlefield Forge

1 Ghitu Encampment

1 Rustic Clachan

1 Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion

PLANESWALKERS - 2

2 Ajani Vengeant

The main idea with this deck is to have Underworld Dreams, Warped Devotion and Megrim in play. I know, a three piece combo isn't the best way to go but remember that this is pure casual and these three cards are a must: they are what prompted me to design this deck in the first place.

So, I'll want my opponent to keep drawing cards and bouncing whatever he plays back to his hand so that he has to discard a card. While drawing and discarding a full bowl of pain will be served to go along ...

It resolves around Radiant, Archangel (MaJin's dread at a point in his Magic career ). The other creatures are fliers, pumping him. And those that aren't can be enchanted with the Embraces to become fliers too. Soul Sculptor and Soltari Visionary are there as a means to control the opponent's board, same as Duress.

Anyway, this deck resolves around the combination of self-sacrificial cards and Grave Pact only to have the cards revived through Oath of Ghouls.

This deck has been in conception for some time with little chances of success. It hasn't been tested yet and I doubt it'll come out as something of big interest. Still, I'd like your input.

So far I see mana as being a big problem. That and dealing with early game ...
